JP Morgan Islamic Market Equity Separately Managed Account (SMA) - Cookie policy
What is a cookie?
Cookies are small files, which are stored on a user’s computer or mobile device when visiting a website. This allows the server to deliver a page tailored to a particular user.
Cookies also perform essential functions, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences and generally improving your browsing experience.
What is the difference between session and persistent cookies?
There are two types of cookies which may be placed onto your device during a website visit. These are called session and persistent cookies.
Session cookies are set at the start of a visit and remain active only while that visit continues. They primarily support navigation through the site as they remember which pages you have been on and what interactions you may have had with the site already (e.g. Searching for a particular fund). These cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser.
Persistent cookies are set during a first visit to a site but will carry an expiry date or time. This cookie will remain on your device until either you clear your cookies or the expiry is reached. They can be used for analytical purposes to track visits over time, for example we could see how many people visited a particular page and then came back to view it again later.
Neither of these types of cookies are used to collect or share personal information.
How can I change settings from within my browser?
Our Privacy Manager is designed to make it easy for you to accept all, selectively accept or reject cookies from this website. This is in addition to the settings of your Internet browser, which you can configure to reject, accept or delete cookies already stored at any time. You can also configure your Internet browser to warn you each time a new cookie is about to be stored on your computer so that you can decide whether to accept or reject it.

Cookie categories
There are four cookie categories that we use, based on the International Chamber of Commerce guide to cookie categories:
Necessary
These cookies are essential in order to enable you to move around the website and use its features, such as accessing secure areas of the website. These cookies gather no information about you that could be used for marketing or remembering where you've been on the internet.
This is the only category of cookies you cannot disable, as doing so would prevent the site from working properly. If you are not willing to accept these cookies, even though they do not store any personal information about you, we suggest that you navigate away from our site.
Performance
These cookies collect information about how visitors use a website, for instance which pages visitors go to most often, and if they get error messages from web pages. These cookies don’t collect information that identifies a visitor. All information these cookies collect is aggregated and therefore anonymous. It is only used to improve how a website works.
You may disable these cookies using our privacy manager, but in doing so will stop us form learning how our website is performing and making relevant improvements to enhance your online experience.
Functionality
These cookies allow the website to remember choices you make (such as your audience type, language or the region you are in) and provide enhanced, more personal features. For example by enabling these cookies we are able to take you to the relevant country and audience content.
The information these cookies collect cannot track your browsing activity on other websites.
Without these cookies, our website cannot remember choices you've previously made or personalise your browsing experience meaning you would have to reset these for every visit.
Cookies on our site
Here is a list of cookies by category.
Unless otherwise specified, all our cookies will expire after 1000 days. You can however delete them at any time from your web browser settings by selecting “Delete cookies”, and/or enable deletion of all cookies every time you close the web browser.

Microsoft Application Insights (ai_session, ai_user)
Microsoft Application Insights sets two cookies, ai_session and ai_user, which are used to collect information about how visitors use our website. This information is used to improve the performance and user experience of our site. The cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information and are deleted after a year.
Bynder (bynder)
Bynder is a digital asset management platform used by Schroders to store and manage digital assets such as images, videos, and documents. This cookie is used to keep track of user sessions within the Bynder platform, allowing users to maintain their preferences between visits. The information collected by this cookie does not include any personally identifiable information and is used solely for internal purposes to improve the performance and functionality of the Bynder platform. If you choose to disable this cookie, you may experience reduced functionality or inability to access certain features offered the Bynder platform.
NextAuth Security (__host-next-auth.csrf-token)
This essential cookie is a part of our website's authentication system, designed to enhance security and protect against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. It verifies that every request made on our site is legitimate and authorized, ensuring that user interactions are safe and secure. Set to operate strictly on the host domain, this cookie allows for secure, authenticated sessions without retaining any personally identifiable information. It is automatically removed at the end of the browsing session.
